The NEW! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog is absolutely phenomenal! There are so many beautiful bundles and suites in this catalog, and my first favorite is the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle.
So on Mother's Day, I grabbed items from my preorder--the Celebrate Sunflowers stamps and dies--and went to work.
For this Thanks a Bunch Card, I created two sunflowers that were first stamped in Crushed Curry ink and then die cut. Then, I die cut the sunflower layers--one in Early Espresso and one in Bumble Bee (one of the new 2020-2022 In Colors)--to create a more realistic sunflower.
For the sunflower layer I cut from the Early Espresso cardstock, I simply cut off the petals and was left with only the center. I then layered on the die cut sunflower layer in Bumble Bee over the top of the stamped sunflower.
Then I layered on the center of the die cut sunflower in Early Espresso, and I had my sunflowers.
For the finishing touches, I embossed a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Scripty 3D folder and a piece of Just Jade (another new In Color) using the Tasteful Textile 3D folder (it's new!).
I layered both onto a piece of Just Jade (another new In Color) wood grain paper from the new 2020-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper Assortment. I finished this card off with a sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set, some delicious Gilded Gems, and a dash of Wink of Stella Glitter Brush clear on the flower center.
After I made the card above, I kept going. I took the third sunflower I made and created this Let's Celebrate You Card below.
I die cut some sprigs using the Sunflowers Dies from Shaded Spruce cardstock and embossed a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Tasteful Textile 3D folder.
I layered the embossed piece onto a piece of Just Jade polka dot paper from the new 2020-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper Assortment, and then added the die cut sunflower, sprigs and sentiment.
And this card too got the sweet addition of some Gilded Gems and Wink of Stella clear on the flower center.
Above are the Celebrate Sunflowers and Sunflowers Dies that will be available for purchase starting June 3, 2020, or you can add them to your Starter Kit! Ask me how!
In case you're wondering why I didn't use Bumble Bee ink to stamp my sunflowers, it's because the new In Color ink pads are not yet available for purchase, but they will be in June. For now, Crushed Curry is a great substitute.
I don't mean to be a tease, but I sure hope I've piqued your interest for the products in the NEW! Annual Catalog. They are simply fab!
You will find all of the available Stampin' Up! products used to create my card below. Order the products you need by placing your order in my Online Store anytime, or click any of the photos below to go right to that item.
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, happy crafting!
