My TOP 10 Favorite Projects of 2013: #5

Hi Friends and happy Saturday!  I'm back today with my #5 Top 10 favorite project.  It's a timeless treasure!

I CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) the design of this Just Because Card from one of my favorite scrapbookers and cardmakers, Marie-Nicolas.  Her work is pretty awesome!  I first saw her work on Pinterest.  Are you on Pinterest too?

Click to see the original blog post, "Just Because," for more pictures and the supply list.

Do you ever get "crafter's block" and need some inspiration?  Pinterest is quite possibly the best place for crafty inspiration!

If you ever get stuck while designing a card, check out my Cards :: All Occasions board and my Sketches :: Cards board for either completed projects or card layouts to inspire you.  You will find tons of inspiration there!

My TOP 10 Favorite Projects of 2013: #7

Hi Friends!  I hope that you had a nice Christmas!  Did Santa bring you everything that you wanted?  I sure hope so.  He was very good to us this year, and I couldn't be happier.  Julian got quite a bit, and he is a very happy camper!

I'm back today with more of my Top 10 Favorite Projects of 2013, and this is #7.  This It's Time for a Celebration Card is one of my favorites because it has just enough sparkle and shine to make the person who receives it feel special!

http://www.getcraftywithlisa.com/2013/09/its-time-for-celebration.html
Click to see the original blog post, "It's Time for a Celebration!," for more pictures and the supply list.

Do you need a little something that adds the right amount of sparkle and shine without the mess of glitter?  Have I got the answer!  Our Glimmer Paper!

We have it in three great colors--ChampagneRed and Silver.  It's one of those things that you don't have to use on every project, but when you do, it makes the perfect impression.
I hope that I have inspired you today.  Have a great day and happy crafting!

My TOP 10 Favorite Projects of 2013: #8

Merry Christmas Eve, All!  Hopefully you are all geared up for Christmas, and you can catch a breather today.  If not, best of luck in getting it all done on time!

I'm back today with #8 of my Top 10 Favorite Projects of 2013.  This Boutique Blossom Birthday Wishes Card is a favorite because of its bold colors.

Click to see the original blog post, "Flashback Friday:  Boutique Blossom Birthday Wishes," for more pictures and the supply list.

Do you ever struggle with choosing colors?  Have I got the answer!  Our Color Coach!

Our Color Coach is fantastic that all of Stampin' Up!'s inks, paper, ribbon, and embellishments coordinate, but our Color Coach makes choosing those colors that much simpler.  I don't craft without mine!

My TOP 10 Favorite Projects of 2013: #9

Howdy, Folks!  I hope that you had a nice weekend!  I'm back today with my #9 Favorite Project of 2013!

This Celebrate A Sweet Birthday Card was so fun and easy to create!  I saw a sketch and knew just what to make!

Click to see the original blog post, "Celebrate A Sweet Birthday," for more pictures and the supply list.

I'm a sucker for punches and dies that coordinate with our stamp sets!  Punches and die cut images make creating fun cards and crafting projects that much easier.  My favorite thing to do with these elements is to make them "pop."  Rarely do I create a project without adding a 3-D element or two.

Would you like to add some dimension to your hand cut, punched or die cut elements?  The BEST product we have to add a little dimension to these elements is our Stampin' Dimensionals.  They will give your projects just a little more oomph and still fit into our envelopes!

Stampin' Up!'s Stampin' Dimensionals
You get 300-1/16" double-sided, self-adhesive foam mounts for only $3.95!  Order yours today!

My TOP 10 Favorite Projects of 2013: #10

Hi Folks!  It's hard to believe that Christmas is next week and 2013 is almost over.  This year has been filled with so many great things for me and my family, and I hope it's been the same for you and your family as well.

I've got lots more projects to share from the NEW! Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration, but I understand that my posts might be getting lost in the shuffle with all of the goings-on.  So I thought that I would take this time to give you all a "Year in Review" so-to-speak and share 10 of my favorite blog posts and projects of 2013.

I started my blog at the end of May, so it hasn't quite been a year, but there are some posts you may have missed, and they are definitely worth seeing again, if I must say so myself!

The first project on my Top 10 list is my #1 favorite Christmas card of all time!  I love how this Magical Wonder of the Season Card turned out...it had just the right amount of pomp and circumstance!  It was a BIG HIT on Pinterest and continues to be pinned almost daily to this very day.

Click to see the original blog post, "Magical Wonder of the Season," for more pictures and the supply list.

Do you need a card design that is great year-round?  Well, this card design is great for cards you will make all year like birthdays, congratulations, weddings, baby showers...you name it!  Instead of snowflakes, stamp some flowers.  Instead of a Christmas sentiment, stamp a birthday sentiment.  Make it your own!

Have a great day today and happy crafting!

What's Hot Wednesdays: Banners!

Hi Folks!  I'm back today with my What's Hot Wednesday's share!  So guess what's HOT this week?  Banners…yeah, banners!

Banners have actually been all the rage for quite some time, but I've seen them more over the past few weeks than ever before.  Have you noticed them everywhere too?

For today's share, I made this adorable Hooray for Today Card featuring NEW! Occasions Catalog products using three of my new favorite products--the Geometrical Stamp Set, Triangle Punch and Banners Framelits Dies.

This paper is so "me" because it's so bold and bright.  Believe you me, you'll be seeing LOTS more of it!

The Steps:
  1. Stamp your sentiment in the bottom right corner of your card base and set aside.
  2. Cut 5 banners from the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper from the 3 smallest banners in the Banners Framelits Dies, and set aside.
  3. Cut a 1-1/4" x 4-1/4" strip of paper from one of the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Papers and adhere near the top of your card.
  4. String two of the Basic Metal Buttons onto a piece of Whisper White Twine and adhere using Mini Glue Dots to the strip of paper at the top of your card.
  5. Layer the banner pieces onto the top of your card and adhere them using Mini Glue Dots, covering the Whisper White Twine.
  6. Cut two triangles from Crushed Curry and Strawberry Slush Cardstock using the Triangle Punch, and adhere using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. For an added bit of sparkle and shine, add a circle punched piece of Silver Glimmer Paper.

This card was easy, fun and fast, and would take you about 10 minutes to make!

This card oozes FUN, and I hope that you like it too!  I listed the available products I used to make this card below.  You can create one too using some fun, colorful patterned paper and our Hexagon Punch to create the banners.

Have a great day today and happy crafting!

Quick Christmas Gift Tags

Hi Friends!  I hope that you had a nice weekend.  I'm sorry I'm late, but I'm here!  Last week and this weekend were very busy…lots of plans…lots of fun…but no time to blog.  Zero…zilch!

On Saturday, I "crashed" my crafty friend Linda's scrapbook get together at her home with her friends, and then on Sunday, my crafty friend, Beckie, came over for a few hours.  At each gathering, I shared how to make these adorable Quick Christmas Gift Tags.

The completed tags are 2" x 4".

The tags were my little gift to everyone to make their holiday gift wrapping a little sweeter.  They were a big hit and are very easy to make!

I used the same Christmas Tagables Photopolymer Stamp Set I used to create the No Peeking Gift Box & Card a few weeks ago, some scraps of patterned and solid cardstock, Silver Glimmer Paper, a few punches, and Whisper White Baker's Twine.

I know that time is running out, but if you have the Christmas Tagables Photopolymer Stamp Set and some scraps left over from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper, then it's time to start making some tags!  Why buy them when you can make them, AND you'll impress your friends and family at the same time?!

I have all of the supplies I used listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day, and, until next time, happy crafting!
