What's Hot Wednesdays: Banners!

Hi Folks!  I'm back today with my What's Hot Wednesday's share!  So guess what's HOT this week?  Banners…yeah, banners!

Banners have actually been all the rage for quite some time, but I've seen them more over the past few weeks than ever before.  Have you noticed them everywhere too?

For today's share, I made this adorable Hooray for Today Card featuring NEW! Occasions Catalog products using three of my new favorite products--the Geometrical Stamp Set, Triangle Punch and Banners Framelits Dies.

This paper is so "me" because it's so bold and bright.  Believe you me, you'll be seeing LOTS more of it!

The Steps:
  1. Stamp your sentiment in the bottom right corner of your card base and set aside.
  2. Cut 5 banners from the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper from the 3 smallest banners in the Banners Framelits Dies, and set aside.
  3. Cut a 1-1/4" x 4-1/4" strip of paper from one of the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Papers and adhere near the top of your card.
  4. String two of the Basic Metal Buttons onto a piece of Whisper White Twine and adhere using Mini Glue Dots to the strip of paper at the top of your card.
  5. Layer the banner pieces onto the top of your card and adhere them using Mini Glue Dots, covering the Whisper White Twine.
  6. Cut two triangles from Crushed Curry and Strawberry Slush Cardstock using the Triangle Punch, and adhere using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. For an added bit of sparkle and shine, add a circle punched piece of Silver Glimmer Paper.

This card was easy, fun and fast, and would take you about 10 minutes to make!

This card oozes FUN, and I hope that you like it too!  I listed the available products I used to make this card below.  You can create one too using some fun, colorful patterned paper and our Hexagon Punch to create the banners.

Have a great day today and happy crafting!
