Jingle All the Way

Thank you to all of you who tuned in for my, Patty's, and Cindee's Halloween treats Blog Hop last week!  It was super fun sharing those amazing projects with you, and we hope that you will give some of them a try before the big day.

In case you missed them, you will find them here (just click on the name of the project to check it out):

Today, I'm excited to share my Jingle All the Way Card.  I know Christmas is a couple of months away, but have you had an opportunity to start thinking up your handmade Christmas card design yet?  Well, I think I might have one you may want to give some consideration.

I borrowed my design from a card I saw on Pinterest and knew just what I wanted to do when I saw it.  For this card, I used the following new Holiday products:
  • Jingle All the Way Stamp Set
  • Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper
  • Softly Falling Embossing Folder, and
  • Red Foil Sheets

Here's how to make one of your own.

THE STEPS:
  1. Emboss the top portion of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  (I used the debossed side--the reverse of the embossed side.)
  2. Stamp sentiment "jingle all the way" at bottom of Whisper White Cardstock using Basic Black Archival Ink.
  3. Cut a 4" x 4" piece of the music notes paper from the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper and cut it into 4-1" x 4" strips.
  4. Banner cut one end of each strip using the Triple Banner Punch and curl upward with your Bone Folder.  Adhere the strips onto the Whisper White Cardstock (offset them slightly).
  5. Tie some Linen Thread around the Whisper White Cardstock.
  6. Adorn with a red foil star punched from Red Foil Sheets using the Medium Star Punch and some Pearl Basic Jewels.
  7. Adhere card front onto a Crumb Cake card base.

I LOVE this card, and I can't wait to send some Christmas cheer onto my family, friends, and beloved Stampin' Up! customers this holiday season!

You will find all of the Stampin' Up! products used to create this card below.  Order what you need by placing your order in my Online Store anytime, or click any of the photos below to go right to that item.

Double Fry Box Treat Basket Blog Hop -- Day 3!

I sure hope you have enjoyed the projects we've shared with you over the past three days thus far.  Let's say we wrap it up this Mini Blog Hop with Cindee's fabulous Double Fry Box Treat Basket!

This basket shows off so many of Stampin' Up!'s yummy Halloween products.  Cindee said she tried to throw in the "kitchen sink" of all things Halloween from the Holiday Catalog into this basket, and I think she did an awesome job doing just that!

For this Double Fry Box Treat Basket, the Holiday products we used include:
  • Sweet Hauntings Stamp Set,
  • Howl-o-Ween Treat Stamp Set,
  • Boo To You Framelits Dies,
  • Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper,
  • Black Glimmer Paper,
  • Spider Web Doilies, and
  • Into the Woods 3/8" Cotton Ribbon

I love how Cindee had us adorn both the witch's hat and tag with that cute little spider.  He's so cute!

Cindee had us wrap some Ghirardelli chocolate treats in some Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper, add a die cut "Boo" from the Boo To You Framelits Dies, and tie both of them on with some Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine.  I love it because you don't have to wrestle with the paper to get to the treat!

I love this little basket!  You will find all of the Stampin' Up! products used to create these baskets below.  Order what you need by placing your order in my Online Store anytime, or click any of the photos below to go right to that item.

Please stop by both Patty Bennett and Cindee Wilkinson's blogs to check out their baskets.  Cindee has all of the instructions on her blog on how to create these fun baskets.

Happy Haunting Pillow Boxes Blog Hop -- Day 2!

Welcome to Day #2 on the Blog Hop!  For my Holiday product creation, I chose to create some Happy Haunting Pillow Boxes with the Square Pillow Box.  I love all of Stampin' Up!'s nifty gift box dies, and this one is my new favorite!

With the Happy Haunting suite (pg. HC 47), I came up with these adorable pillow boxes -- perfect for Fun Size packs of candy!  I stuffed each of mine with a pack of Fun Size M&M's.

Here's how to make some pillow boxes of your own.  See my picture tutorial and instructions below.

1.  Cut a 4-3/4" x 12" strip of cardstock for the pillow box and cut a 3/4" x 10" strip of cardstock for the belly band.

2.  Using the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies, cut 2 pillow box shapes from the 4-3/4" x 12" strip of cardstock.

3.  Score along the score lines of both pillow box shapes.

4.  Adhere the 2 pillow box pieces together using Tear & Tape Adhesive.

5.  Once the pillow box is formed, wrap the belly band around the pillow box and adhere with Fast Fuse.

6.  Adorn the pillow box with a spider web doily (cut in half).  Adhere the doily to the belly band using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Adhere the punched sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Check out Stampin' Up!'s Square Pillow Box video below.  Then, order your Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies and Happy Haunting products in my Online Store TODAY!

These pillow boxes are a great treat for the Trick-o-Treaters, and are fun and fast to make.  You will find all of the Stampin' Up! products used to create these boxes below.  Order what you need by placing your order in my Online Store anytime, or click any of the photos below to go right to that item.

Please stop by both Cindee Wilkinson and Patty Bennett's blogs to check out their boxes.  Be sure to stop by tomorrow for Cindee's Double Fry Box Treat Basket.

FaBOOlous Baker's Box Blog Hop -- Day 1!

A couple of weeks ago, Patty, Cindee and I got together to start our holiday crafting.  We each chose a Holiday Catalog product that we would create some fun Halloween projects with.  Patty chose to create one using the Baker's Box Thinlits Dies.

Over the next three days, we'll each be sharing these projects with you in our Mini Blog Hop series.  I hope you like them as much as we all did!

First up is Patty's FaBOOlous Baker's Box.  Using the Happy Hauntings Designer Series Paper, we each chose a different patterned paper design for our baker's box.

We adorned our baker's boxes with:
  • Tangelo Twist 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon
  • Basic Black 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon
  • Belly band cut from Happy Hauntings Designer Series Paper
  • Die cut owl from the Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp Set, and
  • Banner stamped with a sentiment from the Six Sayings Stamp Set (hostess exclusive stamp set).

We had to perform a little "surgery" on the owl to keep him from being covered by the banner.  We simply cut him in half at the waist.  We also cut slits under his wings so he could hold onto the banner.  Genius, right?!

In case you don't know this already, you can POUR treats out of the Baker's Box just like you pour milk or juice the from the carton.  Who knew?!  Patty showed us that trick too.

Isn't this the cutest treat box?!  Your little Trick-o-Treaters are going to love these little goodie boxes!  I know my little Trick-o-Treater will.

You will find all of the Stampin' Up! products used to create these boxes below.  Order what you need by placing your order in my Online Store anytime, or click any of the photos below to go right to that item.

Please stop by both Patty Bennett and Cindee Wilkinson's blogs to check out their boxes.  Patty has all of the instructions on her blog on how to create these fun boxes.  Be sure to stop by tomorrow for my Happy Haunting Pillow Boxes.
