Welcome to Day #2 on the Blog Hop! For my Holiday product creation, I chose to create some Happy Haunting Pillow Boxes with the Square Pillow Box. I love all of Stampin' Up!'s nifty gift box dies, and this one is my new favorite!
With the Happy Haunting suite (pg. HC 47), I came up with these adorable pillow boxes -- perfect for Fun Size packs of candy! I stuffed each of mine with a pack of Fun Size M&M's.
Here's how to make some pillow boxes of your own. See my picture tutorial and instructions below.
1. Cut a 4-3/4" x 12" strip of cardstock for the pillow box and cut a 3/4" x 10" strip of cardstock for the belly band.
2. Using the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies, cut 2 pillow box shapes from the 4-3/4" x 12" strip of cardstock.
3. Score along the score lines of both pillow box shapes.
4. Adhere the 2 pillow box pieces together using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
5. Once the pillow box is formed, wrap the belly band around the pillow box and adhere with Fast Fuse.
6. Adorn the pillow box with a spider web doily (cut in half). Adhere the doily to the belly band using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Adhere the punched sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.
