You + Me = Twitterpated

Hello Crafty Friends!  How was your Christmas?  I hope that it was filled with lots of love, laughter and joy.  We had a great Christmas.  Julian got way too many gifts (I'm partially to blame...hehe), but he's loving every one of them.

When I should have been wrapping all of the presents last weekend, I was crafting instead.  I couldn't help myself!  I got to play with new products in the 2015 Occasions Catalog, and, boy, did I have fun!  With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I couldn't resist making some Valentine's cards.

Using the new You Plus Me Stamp Set and Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack (LOVE!), I came up with this You Plus Me Twitterpated Card.

My design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #126 that I pinned to my Sketches :: Cards Pinterest board a few weeks ago.  I LOVE this card design and will use it again and again.

My color scheme consists of Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red and Calypso Coral.  I just love these colors together.  They really pop!

Don't be afraid to use Basic Black as your card base.  Just line inside of your card with Whisper White Cardstock like I did.

I hope that you like this card and that I have inspired you to get started on your Valentine's cards too.  The 2015 Occasions Catalog goes live on January 6, 2015, so you don't have to wait too much longer to get your hands on these awesome new products.

You will find all of the products I used to create this card below even though you can't get the stamp set or paper until January 6th (sorry to be a tease!).  Order the other products you need by going to my Online Store or click any of the links to go right to that item.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Until next time, happy crafting!

Silly question but how do you measure the skewed piece? The red layer...Gorgeous card!!!!

Hey Kay! Not a silly question at all :). I literally placed both papers at an angle and trimmed them with my Stampin' Trimmer. That was the only way to make it work, in my opinion. Thank you for your kind words too!

Belle

Really a beautiful card. It came together like the paper and stamp were intended to be that way. Great job.
