IKEA Craft Storage Ideas & Mini Blog Hop

Hi Crafty Friends!  I'm here today along with three of my crafty partners in crime--Cindee, Patty and Wendy--to share with you some craft storage ideas that we discovered last week at IKEA in West Sacramento, CA.

We had such a great time, and I trust that you'll want see what they found while we were there too, so be sure to read all the way to the end and click on the links to their blogs.  Now, let's start the tour!

Disclaimer:  I didn't want to lug my DSLR camera, so I relied on
my iPhone.  This image above is the only blurry one…I think :)

We first spotted this uber cute Raskog Kitchen Cart in dark grey.  It's also available in cream and turquoise…my favorite color!  Although it was designed to be used in the kitchen, it makes for a perfect addition to any craft room, right?!

I have probably pinned this cart five times or more featuring different uses onto my Craft Rooms & Organization Pinterest board.  I've noticed that it's been a big hit with Project Lifers.  And, it's only $49.99 to boot!  Gotta love that affordable price.

This, my friends, is Expedit…part of the Expedit Series.  Check it out in turquoise.  If had room for it, I would have brought this one home.  Actually, it was "oversold," so they didn't have any more.

Just so you know, according to Nancy Nally, founder and editor of Scrapbook Update, Expedit is being discontinued, so that's probably why.  Can you believe it?!  But no need to bang your head if you missed the boat because the Expedit Series is going to be replaced by a similar line called Kallex.  It's launching in stores April 1st.  So word to the wise, run don't walk to your nearest IKEA to get what's left of Expedit!

Don't you love this one in hot pink?!  Even though pink isn't my color, this would be "hot" in a craft room or in a girl's bedroom.

Here's my Expedit in black-brown that I bought several years ago.  I LOVE IT!  It offers open storage, but I'm also able to hide what I don't want seen in 10 Lekman Boxes.   They are a beautiful blue, and I'm glad that I got them when I did because that color is no longer available.

Well, that's all folks.  Be sure to see what Cindee, Patty and Wendy have to share.  Did you notice that we added Wendy into the fold?  Here goes.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!
