Documented This & That: My New Baby

Howdy Crafty Friends & happy Friday!  Oh, and happy first day of August 2014!  Summer is wrapping up, so I hope you make it all count this month.  Anyway, I'm back with another fun journal entry in my Documented This & That journal.  It's all about my new baby…my new CAR!

At the start of 2014, I had been driving my 2005 Toyota Prius for almost nine years, and I was ready to put her out to pasture.  It was a great car, but it was time for some new wheels with a well-appointed interior...things like leather seats, a sunroof, and satellite radio.

I knew exactly what I wanted...the Toyota RAV4.  So I went down to my local Toyota dealer and test drove one.  I was in love until I took my fiancé with me to see it, who quickly pointed out the things that were missing or not quite right (no offense to anyone who owns a RAV4!).  I was so disappointed, but I took it all in stride and went back to the drawing board.

I listed my Top 5 Reasons why I love my Honda CR-V.

Remembering my love for my 2000 Honda Accord Coupe, I knew just where to turn.  So I jumped online, read all of the reviews for the Accord and CR-V, and then went down for a test drive.  I fell hard for both cars, but the CR-V won for its high profile and versatility.

After what felt like ages, my fiancé finally said it was time to go and get my new baby in March of this year.  I am delighted with my new car and seriously enjoy driving my Charlie (yes, that's her name!).

I had so much fun making this spread!  I'm really digging journaling with the visual aide of pictures, and I hope that you are enjoying the ride too.  I'll be back with more journal entries in the coming days.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Until next time, have a great weekend and happy crafting!
