Hello, Crafty Friends! I'm here today with another Valentine's Day card. Any surprises? I LOVE Valentine's Day (if you couldn't tell already!), and especially love sending cards to my family, friends and customers on this special day. What about you?
Did you know that Valentine's Day is the 2nd most popular card giving time of the year? Yep...Christmas is #1.
Anyway, I CASE'd this card design from Claire Daly, a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Australia. I HAD to make this card because I needed a Valentine's Day card...pronto! And, I just LOVE this design!
I used Strawberry Slush as my base color...a true favorite of mine in the pink color family. It's bright, but it's just right.
Not only did I have to give the design a try, but I also HAD to play with the Filled with Love (Paper Pumpkin January 2015) kit as soon as it arrived! You need to understand the cuteness going on in the little red box! The stamps, hearts, treat toppers, and colors all screamed, "Let's play!"
The only elements I used from the Paper Pumpkin kit were the die cut gold foil trimmed heart and the "Be Mine, Valentine" stamp, but that was all this card needed.
