It's Time to Celebrate...with Cake! & A VIDEO!

I'm back with more Occasions Catalog 2016 card making fun!  Are you ready?!  The It's My Party product suite on pages 4-7 in the Occasions Catalog is dripping with bright colored designer series paper, two great stamp sets, fun embellishments, and great tools.  Well, I didn't buy it all, but darn near!

When I asked my girls in December at the Get Crafty with Lisa Holiday Party I threw for them what they wanted to make in class in January, February and March, they said they HAD to make a card with the new Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies.  So, when I got my hands on the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack, I knew exactly what we'd make at my Occasions Catalog & Sale-A-Bration Kickoff.

For this It's Time to Celebrate with Cake Card, I used lots of It's My Party products:
  • Party with Cake Stamp Set
  • It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack
  • It's My Party Cardstock Pack
  • Baker's Twine Combo Pack
  • It's My Party Designer Washi Tape
  • Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies

The card front is a Lisa Rhine Design (TM) original.  I borrowed it from a card I made for my dad for his birthday back in 2014, It's Your Birthday Dad Card.  It's still being pinned to this day almost weekly on Pinterest, so I thought I'd give it another run.

For the inside of the card, I borrowed my design from one of the cards on page 7 of the Occasions Catalog.  I wanted to show my crafty friends that they too can make what they see in the Catalog.  The only thing that's missing on mine are the It's My Party Enamel Dots...I added them after I took this picture.

Above is more detail on the card front.  But for the inside of the card, be sure to watch Stampin' Up!'s video below like I did to learn how to use the Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies.  Fun stuff!

TIP ::  Stamp your sentiment and/or confetti from the Party with Cake Stamp Set BEFORE you fold and adhere it to the inside of your card, like Cheryl is showing us above.

Lemyrtle loved how her card turned out.
