For You Birthday Bouquet & TUTORIAL!

When I saw the Birthday Bouquet product suite in the Occasions Catalog on pages 8-9, I had to have it ALL!  It's filled with flowers, soft colors, and even a bit of bling--some of my favorite things.  The designer series paper just screams, "Make pretty cards with me!"

Using the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set, Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, and Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon, this beauty came together quickly and easily.

I offset the card front to give a hint of color from the card base in Soft Suede.

The focal point of this card is the large flower from the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.  I love it!  But because we were making this card in a class, I didn't color it in.  That would have been too time consuming for a class.

I finished this card off with some of that gorgeous Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon.  It adds just the right bit of sparkle and shine.  Below are all of the steps to make this card.

THE STEPS ::
  1. Cut a card base at 4-1/4" x 11" in Soft Suede and score in half.
  2. Cut a card front at 4" x 5-1/2" and a coordinating strip of paper at 2" x 5-1/2" from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.
  3. Cut a base for your large flower at 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock, and stamp the large flower from the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set in the center in Mint Macaron ink.
  4. Punch a 1-3/4" circle using the 1-3/4" Circle Punch from Blushing Bride Cardstock, and stamp "for you" in Watermelon Wonder and the small flower in Mint Macaron above the sentiment.
  5. Cut two 2-1/2" pieces of Pool Party 3/8" Ribbon and adhere to the sentiment circle piece using Mini Glue Dots.
  6. Grab your card base and adhere the card front on the right.  Adhere the coordinating strip about 1/2" in from the left.  Adhere the stamped flower piece to the top center.  Add the sentiment circle with ribbon pieces to the lower left corner of the stamped flower piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Finish off with three Blushing Bride Sequins Trim randomly placed on the stamped flower using the Fine-tip Glue Pen.  And you're done!

We made this card in my Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Kickoff this past weekend, and my class attendees just loved it!
