Fun with Flowers Week: Hello My Friend

Boy, does time fly!  It's already February, and I still have yet to play with a good chunk of my Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration goodies.
So, before we say goodbye to the Hello Stamp Set in the Sale-A-Bration brochure (pg. 19) on February 15th, I made sure to pull it out and see what I could come up with.  And I'm happy to say that this Hello My Friend Floral Card is one of my favorite creations to date.

Using the Hello Stamp Set, Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, this beauty came to life.

For the card front, I layered opposing patterns and colors in the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper to give the look contrast and juxtaposition.

For the flowers, I layered two of the same die cut flowers--one in Watermelon Wonder and one in Blushing Bride.  I die cut the center from Gold Glimmer Paper.  Lastly, I die cut the leaves from Gold Foil Paper.

I layered everything and finished the card off with three cupped sequins from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.  Love cupped sequins!

Very pretty. Never would have guessed the glitter paper would cut so well with such a delicately detailed die. TFS.
