Cookie Cutter Halloween Card & Treat Wrapper

On Saturday, September 17th, my crafty friends and I kicked off the start of the holiday crafting season with my 2016 Holiday Catalog Kickoff event.  It was a sold out event, and we had a BLAST making four holiday projects--two for Halloween and two for Christmas.  I'll share the Halloween projects today.

Using the adorable Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and Spooky Fun Bundle (Spooky Fun Stamp Set + Halloween Scenes Edgeless Dies = 10% discount!), I came up with this fun Cookie Cutter Happy Halloween Card.  I kept things simple, but I love how it turned out!

That little skeleton is such a gentleman with his bow tie on.  We stamped the bow tie tone-on-tone with Rich Razzleberry cardstock and ink.

The little smiling bats flying overhead keep this card fun and not too scary for the little ones.

TIP:  I recommend stamping all of your skeletons first for spacing, then adding one that you'll stamp and punch from Whisper White cardstock for a bigger effect.  Be sure to use Stampin' Dimensionals behind the one you stamp and punch to give it that "pop."

You can't just give a Halloween card and not a treat, right?!  Using Erica Cerwin's Halloween Krispy Treat Holder idea that she shared last Halloween, we made some adorable Cookie Cutter Halloween Treat Wrappers too using the same products as we did for the card.  We stuffed them with a full-size Rice Kripsy treat inside.

Measurements:
Basic Black:  2" x 11", score at 5" and 6"
Punch both ends with the Scalloped Edge Tag Topper Punch
Old Olive and Rich Raspberry Cardstock:  2" x 6-1/2", score at 2", 3", 5" and 6"

Some of my crafty friends followed my design and made their mummy a boy.

Cheryl's is all ready to go.

Some of my crafty friends went outside the box and made their mummy a little girl by putting a bow in her hair.  I love that!  Isn't she cute?!

Do you like these projects?  Could you see yourself making these adorable Cookie Cutter Halloween Treat Wrappers for your child's classmates, for the Trick-o-Treaters, or for the seniors at the senior center?

I'm going to make the Cookie Cutter Halloween Treat Wrappers for my co-workers' kids this Halloween.  I've got quite a few to make, so I'll be getting started on them soon.
