When you talk about classic Christmas, you must be talking about the Christmas Pines Stamp Set and Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies in the Stampin' Up! 2016 Holiday Catalog. I have been waiting for Stampin' Up! to come up with a stamp set and dies like this, and, boy, did they hit it out of the park with these two!
After I found the perfect sketch to help me express my wishes of comfort and joy for the holidays, I went right to work with the Christmas Pines Stamp Set, Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, Layering Squares Framelits, Layering Circle Framelits, and the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack.
If you love this background paper I used, then definitely check out my Reindeer Greetings Cookie Cutter Christmas Card that featured paper from the stack as well. For my design, I used Mojo Monday sketch 214. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect!
I die cut the circles and squares from my favorite new Layering Squares Framelits and Layering Circle Framelits. And to think that when they first debuted, I didn't think I needed them; now they are practically all I use.
I CANNOT get enough of those die cut pinecones! I love what they do to this card. I finished them off with that adorable big bow I die cut from Gold Foil Paper using the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies.

Really pretty card, Lisa. I like how you used the circle behind the pine sprigs so they show up better than against the plaid. TFS!
Thank you so much, Michelle! Yes, it needed that contrast, so you could see the pine leaves.
