Sweater Weather Gratitude

Hi Crafty Friends!  I am back with another Thanksgiving card, as promised.  I simply can't get enough of this Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper or the Harvest of Thanks Stamp Set.  This has to be one of my favorite Designer Series Paper of all times!

I used almost all of the same elements as I did to create my Sweater Weather Thanks Card.  The plaid paper that I used as the background for this card is my FAVORITE of the 12 designs!

I also pulled out my Champagne Glimmer Paper to brilliantly show off my sentiment.  Can't get enough glimmer!

I just LOVE that turkey stamp, even though I've heard from a few of my crafty friends and fellow demonstrators that they don't like the grunge look it has.  Well, I can't get enough of him!

Of all the cards I've made so far this season, this is one of my "Top 3" favorite Thanksgiving cards.  I hope that you like it too.  So tell me, what do you think?  Please leave me a comment below.

I've got one more Thanksgiving card to share tomorrow, and it's going to make you want to pull out ALL of your supplies and get crafty with it, so be sure to tune in.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Until next time, happy crafting!

Magnificent Maple Thanks

Happy Tuesday, All!  For today's share, I made a Thanksgiving card featuring the Magnificent Maple Stamp--a true favorite of mine.  In my neighborhood, the leaves are turning beautiful shades of yellow, red and brown, so that is what inspired this card.  Has Fall reached your corner of the world yet?

Using the Magnificent Maple Stamp and Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso Ink, I created the leaf background.  I only stamped the left border...less is more in this case.

Stampin' Up! Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set

I finished this card off with a sentiment stamped from the Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, and die cut it with our Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies.  It wasn't quite finished at that point, so I put it on top of a piece of our yummy Burlap Ribbon, and attached it with two gold Basics Glimmer Brads.

I really like how this card turned out and hope that you do too.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Until next time, happy crafting!

Sweater Weather Thanks

Hi Everyone!  I hope that you had a nice weekend!  Today's post was significantly delayed thanks to last night's glitch with one of the online software programs that I use to edit my photos.  I did my best to get a post together in time for Monday morning, but there was nothing I could do on my end to resolve the problem.

Anyway, let's get to the good stuff!  After a lovely breakfast at one of our favorite breakfast spots with my family and a nice walk in the park on Sunday morning, we came home and each did what we love to do best.

Any guesses on what I did?  If you guessed crafting, then you get a gold star for today!  I made several cards, and I can't wait to share the first one with you.

For this card, I used my favorite Thanksgiving stamp set and Designer Series Paper--Harvest of Thanks and Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper.

Stampin' Up! Harvest of Thanks Stamp Set
Harvest of Thanks coordinates with several of our Framelits Dies, and I am a sucker for just about any stamp set with matching Framelits!  But I truly love the images and sentiments as well.

Stampin' Up! Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper

The Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper has some great patterns, so what's not to love?!

Using a card sketch from that I pinned to my Pinterest Sketches :: Cards board a few days ago, I used opposing patterns from the Designer Series Paper to create this card.  Even though there are four patterns together, they compliment each other.

If you ever need crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my other Pinterest boards and pin away or become a follower!  I'd love to see you around Pinterest as well.

Well, that's it from me today, folks.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and look forward to more Thanksgiving card inspiration tomorrow through Thursday.

Envelopes Made by YOU!

Happy Friday, Everyone!  I am so delighted to be able to share with you one of Stampin' Up!'s newest, best-selling products--the Envelope Punch Board!

How many times have you needed a larger envelope for your card because it was beautifully embellished and wouldn't fit into an A2 envelope?
OR
You wanted to send your card in a colorful envelope instead of one of our stock colors?

Well, now you can make your own--in 66 different sizes to be exact!

Stampin' Up!'s Envelope Punch Board

Mine finally arrived last week...it was a little delayed because this product is SO popular!  I even had a chance to get crafty with it too!

I tried my hand at some envelopes with the Envelope Punch Board, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use.  The envelopes that I made are quite fetching, if I must say so myself!

I shared this new Envelope Punch Board at my Party on Saturday with my hostess and her guests, and EVERY GUEST ordered one!   They can't wait to make their own envelopes!

Here's what you need to make your own envelopes:
  • Envelope Punch Board
  • Stampin' Trimmer
  • Cardstock of your choice
  • Bone Folder
  • Sticky Strip
Click on the video below to see how it works, and you'll want one too!

The Envelope Punch Board is back in stock, so if you need one, please order here.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great weekend and happy crafting!
