Reindeer Greetings Cookie Cutter Christmas Card

As soon as I laid eyes on the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle in the Holiday Catalog, that cute little reindeer stole my heart!  And even though there are 17 stamps in the stamp set, he's just about the only one I've used over and over again.

For my 2016 Holiday Catalog Kickoff!, I made sure everyone who attended that event would experience just how fun that adorable reindeer is to don a holiday card, so I came up with this fun Christmas card featuring him.

Using the Cookie Cutter Builder Bundle (stamp set + punch = 10% savings!), Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder, and Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack, it all came together quickly and easily.

My design inspiration came from Mojo Monday sketch 383.  Since I don't have time to participate in weekly design competitions, I save sketches to my Sketches :: Cards board on Pinterest and borrow design inspiration from them when needed.

I just LOVE the new Cable Knit Embossing Folder!  It has a 3-D design that transforms paper into something amazing!  It gives it such a rich texture.  If you don't have one already, you need one...I promise!

And don't you just love the patterns in that Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack?  I do...I can't get enough of these patterns and designs!  Every time I get ready to make a card, I grab for that stack before I grab for any other paper.

Who wouldn't love a sweet card like this for the holidays?  I know my friends and family will sure appreciate receiving one, and yours will too!

Boo to You Cookie Cutter Halloween Card

Happy Halloween!  Before we put the wraps on this day, I HAD to share this fun Boo to You Cookie Cutter Halloween Card with you!  When I was crafting with my friend Traci a couple of weeks ago, I saw this card so clearly in my mind's eye, so I sketched it out on my Grid Pad and got right to work!

Using the Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Letters to You Stamp Set, Large Letters Framelits Dies and Layering Squares Framelits Dies, this card came together quickly and easily...really!

The first thing I did was die cut three squares and three larger scalloped squares using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies.  I then stamped the adorable mummy, Frankenstein and skelton onto the smaller squares.

I muted the lines of the mummy by going over the stamped lines using a Blender Pen.  I colored the shirt and vest of little Frankenstein with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write Marker.  Lastly, I added a Rich Red heart to the skeleton I punched from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.

For the letters, I stamped them with VersaMark, heat embossed them using White Embossing Powder on Basic Black Cardstock, and then die cut them.

I finished off this card with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder, Silver Glimmer Paper and the Medium Star Punch.  I love how it turned out, and I can't wait to personally deliver it to a friend of mine today.  She's going to love it!
