Who wants some Blog Candy?
----------------------------------
It's almost Friday!  Can you feel it?  Today's card is totally out of the box for me, but I was inspired by a card I saw on Flickr by Maniscrap.  She uses tons of color and distressing techniques, and I just love it!

So for today's card I turned to my Gorgeous Grunge stamp set--a new favorite!--for the splotches and many other favorite products to pull off this look.  The card base is from the Regals DSP Stack, and it's Crushed Curry.  LOVE this new color!  The hardest part of this card was making the Faux Bow (and it's easy!).

Here's how to make a Faux Bow:

1.  Punch 4 ovals from the Extra-Large Oval punch.

2.  Set 2 aside, and on the 2 two, use your 1" Square Punch to make the bow ends.

3.  Then for the 2 you set aside, curl them with your bone folder and adhere each end with a Mini Glue Dot.

4.  Adhere the curled portion to the flat portion with the bow ends sticking out using 2 more Mini Glue Dots.

5.  Lastly, adhere the pieces to your card base and finish off with a decorative brad or a button in the center.

You will find the full list of supplies I used below.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow because I'll announce the winners of Blog Candy...that is if I reach 35 followers!  Click here for more details.

I'll also be debuting cards featuring new products from our Holiday Catalog...think Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  I can't believe it's already time to start thinking about the holidays, but every year they come sooner...at least it feels that way.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Lisa
