Joy to the World Christmas Card

Hi Everyone!  I couldn't wait to share today's card.  It came to me ever so clearly one night when I was heading off to bed.

If I didn't have to get up so early the next morning, I would have run into my Craft Room and made it then.  But I saved it until this past weekend, and it's almost exactly the way I pictured it!

Stampin' Up! World Map Stamp

Using the "create your own background" technique on page 23 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, I used two ink pads and the World Map Stamp to create my background to make this wonderful Joy to the World Christmas Card.  If you need a Catalog, please click HERE.  I'd love to send you one!

The Steps:
  1. Gently drag the Gumball Green and Island Indigo ink pads over a piece of 4" x 5-1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock to create your background.
  2. Turn the World Map Stamp with the rubber side up, and ink with Basic Black Ink.  Then stamp the previously inked Crumb Cake Cardstock with the World Map Stamp.
  3. Die cut two snowflakes using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies from Silver Glimmer Paper.  Then punch two blossoms from Island Indigo Cardstock using the Boho Bossoms Punch and green glimmer brads from the 3/8" Brights Glimmer Brads collection.
  4. Adhere snowflakes to map card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp sentiment from the Joy to the World Stamp Set using Gumball Green Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and die cut with one of the Chalk Talk Dies.
  6. Adhere stamped and decorated card front to Crumb Cake card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I LOVE the old world map look of this card, and I hope that you like it too!  So, what do you think?  Please let me know by leaving me a comment below.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Lisa
