Morning Meadow Thanks

Happy Monday, Everyone!  I hope that you had a great weekend!  Mine was great in spite of not making it to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire.

If you enjoy antiquing and live in the San Francisco Bay Area, then this is a not-to-miss Faire.  It goes on for what feels like miles.  But as much as we love it, we were all a little tired from Saturday, so we skipped the Faire this month and opted for a nice walk in the afternoon and dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

On Saturday--which just happened to be World Cardmaking Day--some crafty friends and I got together in my Craft Room, and we all worked on fun card projects.  My thank you card stash was running low, so it was time to pull out the NEW! Another Thank You Stamp Set and put it to work.

Taking color inspiration from the image above that I added to my Color Inspiration Board on Pinterest a few weeks ago, I started crafting.

Because the sentiment I wanted to use isn't very large, I had the idea to use one of the "thanks" stamps with the label stamp in the Morning Meadow Stamp Set.  (ANY excuse to play with Morning Meadow is always fine with me!)

I saw this card very clearly in my mind's eye, and it turned out exactly the way I pictured it.  I love it when that happens!

The Steps:
  1. Cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Night of Navy Cardstock for the card base.
  2. Emboss a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Gumball Green Cardstock using the Beautifully Baroque Embsossing Folder.
  3. Stamp and cut three large flowers from the Secret Garden Stamp Set and matching Framelit Dies from Mambo Melon Cardstock.
  4. Stamp the label from the Morning Meadow Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink and the beautifully scripted "thanks" from the Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gumball Green Ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
  5. Die cut the stamped piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock using the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies.
  6. Adhere the Gumball Green embossed cardstock to the Night of Navy base.
  7. Adhere the die cut sentiment to the embossed cardstock using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  8. Adhere the flowers each other with Mini Glue Dots and then to the embossed cardstock using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  9. Finish off the flowers with three yellow Brights Candy Dots in the center.

I LOVE this card...so much so that I made four of them!  I even lined one of the envelopes with a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock using the NEW! Envelope Liners Framelits Dies.  How fun!

If you like this card, then please leave me a comment below and/or pin any of the pictures above to your crafty Pinterest board(s).  Just hover over the picture, and click the "Pin It Button" in the upper left corner to pin to your board.  Easy breezy!  Until next time, happy crafting!
