Hi Everyone! I hope that your week is off to a great start. For today's share, I have a beautiful Christmas card using some non-traditional Christmas colors. For this card, I used some strips of Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo Cardstock and accented them with a Smoky Slate snowflake.
This card was fun and oh-so easy to make! The biggest challenge was figuring out how wide to make the strips. Once I got the widths correct, I was quite pleased that they turned out just the way I pictured them in my mind's eye.
The Steps:
- Stamped my sentiment in Basic Gray Ink onto a strip of White Vellum.
- Arranged the strips of Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo Cardstock onto a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White Cardstock and adhered them.
- Stamped the second smallest snowflake from the Festive Flurry Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink onto Smoky Slate Cardstock and die cut it using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies.
- Wrapped and adhered the stamped vellum strip around the strips base and adhered them to my card.
- Embellished the strip with the snowflake and two small Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
- Finished off the snowflake with a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I really like how this card turned out, and I
hope that you like it too! Please let me know what you think by leaving
me a comment below.
Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time, happy crafting!
Lisa
