Hello Friend Soho Subway & A Retiring Product Blog Hop Too!

Hi Crafty Friends!  I'm here along with several members of the Luv 2 Stamp Group, and we're excited to share projects we've made using retiring products from the 2013-2014 Annual Catalog.  In case you haven't heard, Stampin' Up! is making room for new products in the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.  Yippee!

I'm so excited to share this Hello Friend Soho Subway Card with you, but I'm also a little sad.  Why?  Because nearly every product featured on this card will be retiring.

The retiring products are:
  • Secret Garden Stamp Set (#131940 wood, #129144 clear)
  • Secret Garden Framelits Dies (#129372)
  • Soho Subway Designer Series Paper (#130140)
  • Itty Bitty Punch Pack (#118309)
How could this be?!  The Secret Garden Stamp Set and Framelits Dies are some of my all time favorite products to play with!  However, Stampin' Up! never disappoints, so I'm sure it has more flower stamps and Framelits Dies in the works for the new Annual Catalog to replace this awesome ensemble.

For this card, my goal was to use as much Soho Subway Designer Series Paper as possible in the design because the patterns and colors work so well together.  You should get your hands on some of this paper, if you don't have some already.

This card is a little "dark," but I just LOVE it!  It's simple yet complicated, and it has lots of layers!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear from you, so please leave me a comment below.

You will find all of the products I used to make this card listed below.  Order what you need, retiring or otherwise, in my Online Store and get FREE SHIPPING on everything through April 25th!

NOTE:  Because the Retiring Stamp and Retiring Accessories lists went live at 12 am Monday morning, several items have already sold out because all retiring products are available while supplies last.  Some of the products we have featured on our Retiring Product Blog Hop may already be sold out, and we apologize for any inconvenience.  We hope you enjoy the ideas shared and are able to order the retiring products on YOUR Wish List!

AWESOME card Lisa! So glad SU isn't retiring Gorgeous Grunge. That set, just compliments so many other stamp sets.
