From Basic to BAM! Dots 'n Stripes Butterfly

You know that old adage "All good things must come to an end?"  Well, it could not be more true in this case.  This is my last butterfly card for my From Basic to BAM! Butterfly Basics Class, but don't worry...I'll be back with more butterfly cards before too long.

My inspiration for this Dots 'n Stripes Butterfly Card again came from one I originally spotted by Mercedes Weber of Paper Paradise on Pinterest.  I didn't CASE it to the letter...I changed a few things, just like I did with the Eclectic Butterfly Card.

I love the way Mercedes layered the butterflies and stapled them together, so I did the same.  What a neat idea!

That polka dot paper is one of the B-sides of one of my favorites in the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, so it wasn't exactly easy sacrificing some for this project.  But once I saw the end result, I knew it was worth it.  LOL!

This card is so ME!  Everyone always comments that my cards are "cheery and bright," and this one is definitely that.

I hope my class attendees like this card and all of the other "butterfly beauties" too.  And I hope this card and all of the others I shared this week have made you want to whip out your Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and Butterflies Thinlits Dies and make some of your own.

Our stock of butterflies has been replenished, so now's the time to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s generous offer!  Do you need any Stampin' Up! supplies?  You will find all of the products I used to create this card below.  Order what you need by going to my Online Store or click any of the links to go right to that item.

Until next time, happy crafting!
