Oh my! Have you ever seen something so spectacular, so fitting, so perfect, you just had to have it? Well, that's what happened with this card. I saw it, and I had to make one too!
This Eclectic Butterfly Card was CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from one of our amazing Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team members, Mercedes Weber of Paper Paradise. I am a HUGE fan of her work, but this card is the FIRST one I have ever CASE'd. In the past, I have kept my admiration to simply pinning her cards onto my Pinterest boards. But NOT anymore!
I love how Mercedes used lots of layers--patterned paper, vellum, a doily, and glimmer paper--in her design. I would never have thought to put all of these elements together. Hence the reason why she's on the Artisan Design Team, right?
I'm delighted that my card turned out as fab as Mercedes's! I'm just darn proud that I could achieve this look with a slight change or two.
So, was it worth CASEing this card? I sure think so. But please share your thoughts by leaving me a comment below.
I have two more butterfly cards coming, so be sure to check back tomorrow and Saturday!
