Happy Friday, Everyone! I hope that you had a great week! Mine was busy, busy, but I'm glad that it produced many good things, like
- A great lunch date with my friend and Stampin' Up! director, Patty;
- My second order from the new Catalog arrived on Wednesday; and
- I cleaned the house from top to bottom.
Such a great feeling when the house is clean, right?
Anyway, today's card is one of my absolute favorites! It started out very organically...no sketch this time. Surprise, surprise! It came about because Patty said she didn't like the floral print on one of the B-sides when we were going the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper.
So I told her, "You wait and
see...I'm going to make something fabulous with that paper and hopefully
change your mind." With that challenge in mind, this is what I
came up with.
When I started on it, I knew that I wanted to: (A) make a side-open card; (B) use one of the flowers from the new Flower Shop Stamp Set and the new Pansy Punch; and, lastly, (C) use this beautiful floral print on one of the B-sides of one of the Birthday Basics Designer Series Papers. Well, I did all of that and a little bit more.
All of the accent colors are some of my favorites: Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, and Bermuda Bay. I LOVE this card! What do you think? Please leave me a comment below.
