Flashback Friday: Wishing You...

Happy Friday, All!  I hope that you had a great week!  For today's Flashback Friday share, I am excited to share a quick and cute card using two retired products that I simply adored from the 2013 Sale-A-Bration and 2013 Spring Catalog...now and then!  The Vintage Verses Stamp Set and Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper were both so versatile and timeless, in my humble opinion, and I was sorry to see them go.

For this card, I pulled out some of my favorite go-to crafting products--the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies and the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

The Steps:

  1. Using complementary colors to that Daffodil Delight chevron patterned Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP, I selected some Melon Mambo and Pacific Point cardstock.
  2. Cut a double-end banner from some cardstock that I ran through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
  3. Using the largest die in the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies collection, cut a piece of Pacific Point cardstock.
  4. Stamped my sentiment using White Craft Ink onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.
  5. After layering the banner and other die cut pieces, finished the card off with a Silver Basics Designer Button and Whisper White Baker's Twine.
The Silver Basics Designer Buttons are currently available on the Clearance Rack, so don't miss out on them if you didn't get them in the Spring!

With these beautiful and bright colors, I believe this card would put a smile on someone's face!  I hope that you like this card and might try one on your own either using a different or maybe even the same stamp set, if you have it. Please let me know what you think by leaving me a comment below.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great weekend and, until next time, happy crafting!
