Hi All! I hope that you had a nice weekend! A couple of weeks ago I tried my hand at Thinlits flip cards, and I failed miserably! I believe it was because I was a little over eager with the colors and patterns I was trying to use. So, I went back to the drawing board, and I believe that I "get it" now! For beginners, I recommend starting with solid colored cardstock as the card base and adding pops of color and patterns with patterned paper.
For today's share, I made this delicious Make a Wish Come True Card for my friend's nephew. He's turning the BIG 9, so I thought that he might be able to appreciate a bright, bold card that flips. I used both sets of Thinlits Card Dies, and I really like how it turned out!
For this card, I used Pacific Point Cardstock as my base and jazzed it up a bit with some Pacific Point chevron patterned cardstock from my Brights Collection Designer Series Paper Stack. If you don't have at least one of our stacks, you are SO missing out! Anyway, I used some Real Red polka dot patterned paper from the stack and some Pumpkin Pie (a new favorite of mine) cardstock to make it even more fun.
I just LOVE these Thinlits Card Dies! They make cardmaking that much more FUN and FAST! I hope that you like this card! I'd love to hear from you, so please leave me a comment below. Thanks for stopping by today!
Until next time, happy crafting!
Lisa

Love it Lisa!! You did an awesome job on this card!
Thank you, Nicole! I'm glad that you like it!
Love the bright colors! What is on the other side of the circle? Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much, Aunt Denise! I honestly don't remember what was on the other side of the circle. But I'm guessing nothing because I would have snapped a picture of it if it was something special. I hope this helps.
