Beware Thinlit Flip Card & Bat Punch Art TUTORIAL

Hello, All!  I hope that you had a nice weekend and maybe even have today off for Columbus Day.  Over the weekend, I got in LOTS of crafting time, and I can't wait to share all of the projects I made!

The first one is my Beware Thinlit Flip Card using the magnificent Label Card Thinlits Dies.  I LOVE this die set!  Do you have it yet?  If not, you are missing out on lots of card making fun!

Using this funky, far-out black and white chevron patterned paper from the Witches' Brew DSP and Pumpkin Pie Cardstock as my base, I went right to work.

Once I got the card die cut, I added some of our Witches' Brew Designer Washi Tape to the inside, some punch art bats and an adorable Vampire Owl.

I used LOTS of punches for this card.  Did you notice the triple-layered Beware on the front of the card?

And since I promised you all a quick and easy tutorial last week on how to make the bats, there's no time like the present, but I'll have to save the Owl for another time.  Sorry!

Stampin' Up! Bitty Butterfly Bat Punch Art Tutorial

Stampin' Up! Elegant Butterfly Bat Punch Art Tutorial

The Steps:
  1. Punch one of each butterfly from the Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly Punches from Basic Black Cardstock.
  2. Take a 3"x3"Post-It Note (any color will do) and add the butterfly to the sticky portion.
  3. Punch the bottom of the butterfly with the original butterfly punch.
  4. Wallah!  Your bat is made!  Adhere to your project with a Stampin' Dimensional and finish off with a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel.
Don't you love how simple that is?!  I saw this tip on Pinterest by Kimberley Morris.  Thanks, Kimberley!

Well, I hope that you have enjoyed this card.  I had so much fun making it, and hope that you have been inspired to make one too right in time for someone special this Halloween.

Please feel free to leave me a comment below and let me know what you think.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Lisa
