Howdy hey and Happy Monday, Crafty Friends! If you've been joining me here for the past couple of weeks, then you already know that today is the day for another fun share using a Creative Challenge Club sketch.
Here's sketch CCC04.
For this sketch, I couldn't resist whipping out that FUN Crushed Curry polka dot paper from the Flowerpot Designer Series Paper one more time. It just screams "Celebrate!"
Along with this bold patterned paper, I also went bold with my colors, using Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie.
I had to add the double die cut star that I die cut using the Star Framelits Dies from Silver Glimmer Paper. It adds that extra bit of "pow."
Die cutting has always been my "staple" technique that I use in most of my card designs, but double die cutting is becoming my new "wow factor" that I add to those extra special cards. You will find some great examples of this technique on my Kaleidoscope Hello Card, Sending Good Thoughts Card, and Let's Celebrate Card (my first shaker card!).
I. LOVE. THIS. CARD! And I sure hope that you like it too. It's simple and quick, yet it offers a lot of bang for your buck (for your time, really).
Well, that's all for today, folks. You will find all of the products I used to create this card below. Order what you need by going to my Online Store, or click any of the links below to go right to that item.
