If you visited my blog yesterday, I mentioned that I made two cards for a retrosketches challenge. Well, today's card is that 1st attempt...the 2nd Runner-up. I like it...really, I do.
This card was fun to make, but the flowers were a little unwieldy at first. It took me three tries before I liked the final result. I like this final version for sure.
In the end, I got a little creative with the leaves...it felt necessary. Something was definitely missing. I even used some of my washi tape from the Gingham Garden Collection for the first time. Confession...sometimes I'm a little slow to try new things, even if they are all the rage.
