Wheely Sweet

I FINALLY got some new goodies to play with from the new catalog!  YAY!  My wonderful director with Stampin' Up! asked another demonstrator and myself to be Guest Designers for the month of June for our group.

We were able to pick out some new products, and here's today's card featuring some of the products I selected--the Cycle Celebration Stamp Set and the I Am Me Designer Series Paper.

This card was inspired by the latest retrosketches #66.  Love it!

The Steps:
  1. Stamp a white and red checkered piece of I Am Me Designer Series Paper using Real Red Ink for the bicycle, then the sentiment in Basic Gray Ink.  Round the corners, then set  aside.
  2. Cut a 3" x 4" piece from a multi-colored striped piece of the I Am Me Designer Series Paper.  Before adhering it to the yellow and white checkered card base, added some White Baker's Twine.
  3. Lastly, adhere the striped piece of I Am Me Designer Series Paper using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the other two pieces of paper using SNAIL Adhesive, and add the Vintage Faceted buttons with Mini Glue Dots.
I love all of the patterns and colors together.  I hope you like it too!  If you'd like to create this project for yourself, please find the shopping list below.

Happy crafting!

Thanks, Jason! It's funny how you see something that you think you didn't want or like and end up loving it, isn't it?! Haha :)
