A CASE Study: Shelli's Inspiration

Hello and welcome!  Yes, you are in the right place.  No, you did not happen upon So Shelli's blog even though your eyes may think that you have.  In case you don't know who I'm talking about, I'm talking about Shelli Gardner--Stampin' Up!'s co-founder and CEO.  She is a true artist, and I love checking out her blog periodically to see what she's come up with.

My share today is a card that looks very similar to one that Shelli did a few weeks ago because I could NOT resist CASEing her design almost to the letter!  Click here to see the original.  Although mine is not identical (it isn't a gate-fold), it's pretty close.

I just LOVE that new Gift Bow Bigz L Die!  It's a wonderful addition to our Stampin' Up! family of products, and I SO enjoy playing with it!  This card was simple to make and took about 10 minutes tops.  I fussed more with the direction of the paper for cutting the bow more than anything else.

I LOVE the boldness of the colors!  Interesting color combo, right?  I like the contrast that the Chocolate Chip chevron paper (from the Neutrals Color Collection DSP Stack) provides to the bright colors in the Quatrefancy Specialty DSP

And don't you love that little pocket on the inside holding the sentiment on a cute little tag?  So, how did I do with the CASE Study?  (You'll have to forgive me because I just wrapped up my MBA a few months ago, and so "case study" is well embedded in my vocabulary.  LOL!)

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  Until next time, happy crafting!
