Fun with Flower's Week: Scalloped Flower MADNESS!!!

Hi, Everyone!  To wrap-up Fun with Flower's Week, I thought I'd go out with a BIG BANG!  How about three cards featuring different designs but with the same flower?!  I just LOVE the flowers I can make with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, so I punched a bunch of them--15 to be exact--and set out to make three different cards featuring gorgeous scalloped flowers.

For the first two, I went to my go-to floral patterned paper from the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper.  I just love this paper and can't get enough of it!  For the first card, I kept it simple and made a birthday card.  I love the flourishes on the stamped sentiment and die cut it with the coordinating die from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

For the second card, I went a little "retro" and pulled out my Labels Collection Framelits They've been around for a while, but they are a classic, well-loved set of Framelits.  I also couldn't resist pulling out my A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set and using that adorably scripted "just because" sentiment.  It's so perfect for this card!

I finished this card off with my favorite leaves from the Secret Garden Framelits around the flower and some Candy Dots on the sentiment.  LOVE, LOVE this card!

For my third and final card, I turned to the always elegant Framed Tulips Embossing Folder For my card base, I used the same color as the flower--Raspberry Ripple--but made sure to offset it with contrasting colors like Pacific Point, Summer Starfruit and Gumball Green.

I love ALL of these cards and hope that you do too!  If you'd like to know how to make these scalloped flowers for your own crafty creations, please click HERE for a quick tutorial.

I hope that you have enjoyed Fun with Flower's Week, and I look forward to challenging myself again to create things around a central theme in the weeks and months to come.  You never know what might tickle my fancy.

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time, have a great day and happy crafting!  I'll be back tomorrow with Flashback Friday, and it just might be flowers too.  We'll see.

Lisa

Hello Lisa,
I have enjoyed all the flower-cards you have showed.
You make wonderful colour-combinations too, like the card from wednesday the most with the blue dots paper.
