Merry Christmas Postcard

Good day, All!  As a wrap-up to this week's Holiday card shares, I'd like to share my favorite Christmas card in the bunch.  This card is all mine...all my own design!

For this card, I pulled out my beautiful Post Card Stamp and Silver Glimmer Paper, and lots of new favorites from the Holiday Catalog that Patty let me play with while she was away--the Expressions Thinlits Dies and Festival Flurry Framelits Dies.

The Steps:
  1. Stamped the Post Card Stamp, but it was too clean.  So I "dirtied" it a bit by roughing up the edges with the Stampin' Distress Tool and then inking with the Sponge Daubers to give it an aged look.
  2. Stamped the sentiment with one from the Christmas Message Stamp Set.
  3. Cut the expression "Merry" with the Expressions Thinlits Dies.
  4. Cut the snowflake with the Festival Flurry Framelits Dies.
  5. Added some Early Espresso Ribbon to the Pretty Presents Designer Tags.
  6. Punched some small scalloped circles in Gumball Green with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punches to add a bit of flare.

It's not your average card, but I hope that you like it.  I sure do!

One last thing, if you don't do anything tomorrow, be sure to stop by for the first Flashback Friday Blog Hop!

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time, happy crafting!
