Flashback Friday Blog Hop

Happy Friday, and welcome to the first Flashback Friday Blog Hop (my first at least)!  Some stamping friends and I are doing a FUN Blog Hop featuring retired stamps, paper, and embellishments to remind everyone that retired products don't have to be forgotten.

In keeping with this week's Holiday theme, my share is a card that features a stamp set that I got to use only a few times last year, but it is still near and dear to my heart.  The Scentsational Season Stamp Set and matching Holiday Collection Framelits Dies are from the 2012 Holiday Catalog, and remind us of all the things we love about the holidays.

For this card, I pulled out some Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Rose Red, Bermuda Bay, and Early Espresso.  These colors may not sound like the perfect combination, but to me they sure look perfect together.

I just love how it looks like a mug of hot cocoa is being sipped by the window while the snow falls quietly outside.  I hope that you like this card and feel inspired to pull out some of your old stamps and get crafty with it too!

The retired products are:
  • Scentsational Season Stamp Set--Holiday Catalog 2012
  • Holiday Collection Framelits Dies--Holiday Catalog 2012

I'm glad that you stopped by today and would like to wish you an amazing weekend.  Tomorrow, I will join my fellow Luv 2 Stamp Group team members for lots of fun and crafty inspiration!  Be sure to stop by next week to see the Christmas card I made for the swap as well as all of the other fun projects we made.

Until next time, happy crafting!
